Patients requesting a Nasal Surgery are usually seeking specific changes in the external shape of the nasal. It may vary from a small "bump" across the top of the nasal to a significant deformity of the nasal tip, top of the nasal, or a request for change in the overall shape of the nasal. Frequently there are internal problems that contribute to difficulty in breathing through the nasal, such as a deviated nasal septum.
With my double board certification, in Ear, nasal and Throat, I feel that I offer a special expertise in this area. I practiced ENT for over eight years before returning and retraining in Plastic Surgery, adding to my knowledge and experience in nasal Surgery surgery.

Surgeons that are considered experts in this particular procedure appreciate the minute details involved and modify their techniques based on the specific needs of each patient.
This procedure is one of the few that may be partially covered by insurance, if physical findings support the need for airway improvement, such as in a deviated septum or a nasal deformed secondary to a traumatic event.
I usually perform this procedure under general anesthesia, on an outpatient basis.
